"And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,
so that in everything He might have the supremacy." (Col. 1:18)
EKKLESIA
EVANGELICAL FELLOWSHIP
Church membership is gravely misunderstood by many Christians and pastors of our day. They have an aversion to the concept of membership. This may be due to wrong perspectives which they have cultivated by watching wrong practices. There is a need to commit themselves to study this crucial subject in the light of Holy Scripture. Consider studying the articles suggested at the end of this page.
Church membership is nothing but making a commitment or an agreement with Christ and His church. In this age wherein there is so much of irregular attendance to church meetings, superfluous shifting of churches, casual view of the church, non-committed members, and even counterfeit conversions, we believe that church covenant/membership would help prospective members to gain right understanding of the gospel of Christ and become committed members of the church. The covenant of Ekklesia Evangelical Fellowship contains conditions that are Scriptural. Please read our "Church Covenant."
